What we do
Repair first. Replace when it makes sense.
If a $200 part gets you another five winters, that’s what we’ll recommend. Our technicians are paid by the hour, not by the sale.

Gas, oil, electric and hydronic. Most repairs finished on the first visit from parts on the truck.

Central air, heat pumps and ductless units. Refrigerant leaks found and fixed, not just topped up.

Tank and tankless, repaired or replaced. Standard tank swaps are usually done the same day.

A written estimate with three options, sized to your house with a load calculation, not a guess.

Filters, humidifiers, duct sealing and ventilation for houses that are dusty, dry or stuffy.

You call or text
A person in our office answers. Nights and weekends it’s the on-call technician.
We give you a window
Two hours, and a text with your technician’s name and photo when they are on the way.
We find the problem
Then show you what failed and give you a flat price in writing before any work starts.
We fix it and clean up
Boot covers on, old parts hauled away, and a two-year warranty on the repair.

Who shows up at your door
Dale Ironvane started the company in 1994 with one van. His daughter Renata runs it now. We have eleven technicians, all employees, none on commission, and the average one has been here nine years.
Every technician is background-checked, carries photo ID and will text you their name before they arrive.

Questions
What people ask before they call
How fast can you get here?
For no heat in winter or no cooling in a heat wave, usually the same day. Comfort Club members go to the front of the line. Tune-ups and estimates are normally booked within the week.
Should I repair or replace my furnace?
Our rule of thumb: if the furnace is under 12 years old and the repair costs less than a third of a new one, repair it. We will give you both numbers and let you decide.
Do you charge more at night?
Not before 8 p.m. After 8, and on weekends and holidays, we add $60 to the diagnostic visit. The repair prices stay the same.
How do I pay?
Card, check or cash when the job is done. For new systems we offer financing, and we never ask for more than a 10% deposit.
